Routine Appointments

blue_calendar_2011Routine appointments to see a doctor or nurse can be made by telephoning the surgery on 0845 5198661 between 8:45 am and 6:00pm, except Thursday between 1:00pm and 1:45pm and Fridays after 5pm when reception closes. You may also make an appointment in person between these hours

Appointments can be booked in advance or up to 3 days ahead.  These appointments are booked at intervals of 10 minutes. Every effort is made to keep to these times.  However, we are sure you will understand that there will be occasions when this overruns.

Please make a separate appointment if more than one member of the family is to be seen.

If you cannot keep your appointment for whatever reason, please ring to cancel it as this frees up the time for someone else. Failure to cancel your appointment may result in your removal from this practice. We lose between 45 - 50 appointments every week because people fail to keep their appointments and do not inform us in advance.

You can also book and cancel appointments online through this website.  If you haven't done this before then you will need to obtain a pin number/password from reception.

Same Day Appointments

For consultations that cannot wait for a routine appointment, we will endeavour to give you an appointment on the same day. You may not necessarily see the doctor of your choice.

If all the appointments for the day are booked up, the receptionist will ask you to give a brief outline of your problem and pass it to the on-call doctor who will decide to see you as an emergency or if you need to book a subsequent routine appointment.

Please help us and other patients needing emergency attention by not requesting repeat certificates, repeat prescriptions, signing of passports or referrals and long standing medical problems in the same day surgeries.
